Holmfirth and the Holme Valley

The Therapy Rooms (TTRs)  are a quiet hide-away tucked right in the centre of Holmfirth. Within a you few strides you can be at The Picturedrome or Compo and Nora's house.  All the unique shops, welcoming cafes and vibrant night life are right on your doorstep.

Once a worker's cottage servicing the old woollen mill industry, TTRs are situated up a quaint winding cobbled hill. The hill is called Goose Green due to its "goose neck" bends at the top.

As a child I watched one of the very early episodes of Last of The Summer Wine being filmed right here! Bill Owen loved the water from the well at the top of the hill and came to re-fill his water bottle on every visit.

 

Beautiful walks and cycle routes are right on your doorstep, take a deep breath and walk uphill, the views from the top are breathtakingl You can reward your labours by visiting the vinyard at the top. Sample their home fermented wine and/or eat in the restaurant.

 

As a working therapy clinic, I decided to open my rooms up for a holiday let when every customer said how peaceful and calm they feel when here. They are a little bit of heaven ready for you to enjoy!
